The perfect fusion of colors, textures, and florals created this black and yellow modern wedding at The White Room. There is something so pleasing about the bold punch of this color palette. The bright yellow paired with the drastic black details created a clean and contemporary look.

Florals Steal the Show

Florals from Birds of a Flower made sure that this dramatic aesthetic didn’t lack a touch of romance. The jaw-dropping wedding table garland brought this tablescape to a whole new level with a lush bunch of yellow flowers and fresh greenery. Even the cake and signature drinks from Autumn Nomad were showered with flowers adding total sunshine vibes to the table arrangements.

There was no better place to set the scene than The White Room which gives a sophisticated twist on the urban and industrial setting. Utilizing contrasting elements was something I loved most about this shoot! This design work played with the idea of linear and circular, bold and delicate, black and yellow, rustic and chic, and modern yet vintage. The sleek tuxedos from 9 Tailors were a show-stopping choice. The deep navy and bright white complemented each other so perfectly. The stationary from Timberwink Studio takes simplicity and turns it into a chic component of this shoot.

The Vibe

I loved seeing how this event came together. Looking through these photos from Kate Preftakes Photography has me reminiscing about this vibrant and glamorous shoot. The bright colors and overall energy radiated good energy! So proud to be part of this, and I am so excited to share the final product.

The white brick provides a cool backdrop for the rich tones blooming from a playful modern table design. The gold velvet linens and siren line of chargers and glassware blend to create this formal and whimsical contrast of textures. The florals are abstractly placed in handmade stoneware which offers playfulness and dimension to contrast with the clean lines of the black flatware and candlesticks. The design is made complete by the linens which pull the florals, place setting, and modern feel together.
