As a wedding planner, I love collaborating with other talented vendors to create something exciting and unique. This elopement styled shoot at Lakefalls Lodge was no exception! We dreamed up a sweet, pastel-soaked affair that featured pink details and plenty of floral accents and made it happen in the gardens of this breathtaking New Hampshire wedding venue. Everyone brought their best work, and the result was so inspiring! You can browse the feature in Ruffled.
The bride’s blush wedding dress from Country Bridals & Formal Wear was undoubtedly the centerpiece of this shoot. It couldn’t have been more perfect for a garden elopement! Ruffles crisscrossed down the bodice and skirt while a pattern of coral, blue, and lavender wildflowers danced across the fabric. A scattering of blue flowers in the bride’s long hair provided a finishing touch for the whimsical look.
The bride and groom are dog lovers, so naturally, they had to bring their pup Freya along to be their “Dog of Honor.” After an intimate exchange of vows by the lake, Kate Preftakes whisked them off for portraits with their furry best friend in tow. The couple rented a vintage blue Chevy for the occasion that Clementina Floral Co. stuffed to the brim with locally sourced blooms. It complemented the timeless, garden-style theme perfectly! In addition, the couple decided to take advantage of the venue’s tranquil lake for a quick spin in a canoe as an homage to their first date. The images from this day really couldn’t be more beautiful!
Clementina Floral Co.’s work was integral to this shoot, and the bouquet they dreamed up for the bride was simply jaw-dropping. The design was loose and organic, as though the bride had just gathered it from the garden. Vivid pink dahlias, foxglove, prairie gentian, and phlox filled the arrangement and invoked classic New England style. Meanwhile, the floral arrangements for the couple’s sweetheart table were equally stunning! A bud vase overflowed with more pink dahlias and creamy cosmos, while a charming glass cloche housed a table number tucked among delicate florets.
The tablescape abounded with even more floral accents thanks to the stationery artistry of Tickled Ink. The menu, table number, and name cards featured handpainted watercolor blossoms that also appeared in the couple’s invitation suite. And who could forget the confectionary genius of Eat More Cake and Graceful Baking? Between a mouthwatering four-tiered cake with delicately piped pastel frosting flowers and the most darling sugar cookies with handpainted fondant bouquets, they contributed a sweet finish to the day.
I am so grateful to this team of vendors for collaborating with me to bring our vision for this elopement-styled shoot to life. If you are planning your wedding in New England, I would love to help plan and design the luxurious affair of your dreams. Reach out to our team today to learn more about our services!
