Sophie and Dan are two humans I love dearly, and working with their families was an absolute joy from start to finish. Their Weatherhead Hollow wedding felt thoughtful, relaxed, and full of genuine connection.

The wedding weekend began with a welcome party at the family’s Vermont home, just up the road from Weatherhead Hollow. Overlooking a rolling field filled with sheep, the setting was pastoral and peaceful — a perfect introduction to the weekend. Guests gathered for Mexican food from a food truck, shared fun and heartfelt speeches, and eased into the celebration together. It was warm, welcoming, and beautifully unpretentious.

On the wedding day, guests stayed at nearby inns and were shuttled to Weatherhead Hollow for the ceremony. The ceremony took place under the tree — one of the most iconic and beloved ceremony locations at this Vermont wedding venue. Set against the fall landscape, it was intimate, emotional, and deeply meaningful. All of the siblings took part in officiating, which made the moment feel incredibly personal and full of love.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the courtyard before moving inside the barn for the reception. The transition from outdoor celebration to the warmth of the barn felt seamless and cozy — a hallmark of a fall wedding at Weatherhead Hollow.

The reception began with Sophie’s father, Ben, offering a blessing — a grounding and heartfelt moment that set the tone for the evening.
