Madi and Devin had a gorgeous intimate wedding on a clear August morning, that you will love! They decided to keep the guest list to an absolute minimum, being considerate of the health and safety guidelines outlined by the governor of New Hampshire. The guest list was limited to twelve, with only the bride and groom’s immediate families in attendance, making the event a very intimate affair. Maddi is a blogger, and Devin plays professional basketball in Europe, so they were so excited to be back in the States to celebrate!

Their wedding was not just one day – they made a whole weekend out of it! They chose The Estate of North Mowing in Springfield, VT, which allowed them to have a cozy but romantic wedding weekend. This unique venue has 230 acres of land and nine buildings around the property. This allows couples to choose the best spots for them, whether they want views of the rural countryside or more of a garden feel. The cozy lounge suites allow guests to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Madi and Devin were married in the same church that Devin’s parents were married in, and by the same priest who baptized him and his sister. It was so important to this couple to say their vows in this space. After their ceremony, guests headed to North Mowing Estates, for the reception. As the afternoon went on, the clear skies turned into clouds, and rain started to fall. However, The wedding party kept their spirits high, and delighted in the cool breeze and the refreshing rainfall! Luckily, the rain only stuck around for an hour, and it cleared up again.

For the design, the couple chose the Monhegan Delivered Set for their decor, from Events Delivered. This is a sister company of hours, and provides complete table settings to rent! It allows our couples to take the guesswork out of the design, and rent exactly what they need. We complete it with matching pink linen napkins, handblown glass notice holders, bud vases, and of course, lots of candles!

As they dined under a setting sun on a brilliant three-course meal prepared by the incredible Susanna’s Catering, they shared memories, dreams, and lots of laughter. The evening was quaint but spectacular, humble yet magical; everything they had dreamed of since the day Devin proposed.
