A Boorn Brook Farm wedding in Vermont offers exactly what so many couples are searching for: open skies, mountain views, and a peaceful, bucolic setting that feels both elevated and relaxed. Marley and Timothy, who live in New York City, were drawn to Vermont for that very reason. They wanted a place where guests could slow down, take in the landscape, and truly enjoy the weekend. Boorn Brook Farm, tucked into the hills of southern Vermont, delivered all of that and more.
Located in Manchester, Boorn Brook Farm is known for its rural charm and sweeping views. The property feels intimate and expansive at the same time, making it an ideal backdrop for a celebration centered on great food, music, and togetherness.
From the start, Marley and Timothy leaned into a welcoming, unfussy approach that let the setting shine. Guests were treated to wood-fired pizza from Woodbelly Pizza, alongside a raw bar and beautifully executed bartending by Deerfield Bar & Bottle. The atmosphere felt celebratory without being formal, exactly the balance the couple had hoped for.
Tenting and rentals were provided by Rain or Shine Tent and Event Rentals, creating a comfortable and polished environment while still preserving the farm’s natural feel. Linens from BBJ La Tavola added texture and warmth to the tables, complementing the surrounding landscape.
Florals by West Lane Flowers went far beyond traditional arrangements. In addition to flowers, the tables featured fruit and unexpected details woven into the design, adding layers of color, movement, and surprise that felt abundant and joyful.
As Marley and Timothy were introduced as newlyweds, Domino filled the space, setting an upbeat tone that carried straight into their first dance. That dance, set to Coffee and Cigarettes, was one of the most memorable moments of the night. Guests were invited to stand, spin their napkins, and fully participate, turning the first dance into a shared celebration rather than a quiet moment.
Timothy’s father welcomed everyone with heartfelt remarks and shared specialty wines from Truro Vineyards, a meaningful nod to family vacations and traditions in Truro. Timothy’s two brothers delivered a joint speech filled with warmth and humor, while Marley’s three maids of honor shared toasts that were equally thoughtful and personal.
Dinner and dancing flowed seamlessly, with music by House on Fire keeping the dance floor full all night long. Dessert was served buffet-style and provided by a Connecticut bakery with close ties to the family, adding yet another layer of personal connection to the evening.
The night ended on a high note with everyone on the dance floor for a final song, New York, New York, a perfect full-circle moment for a couple who brought their city roots to the Vermont countryside.
Every moment was beautifully documented by Stephanie Keeler, with videography by Julia Seitz. Hair was styled by Amanda Hopcraft, and makeup by Rachel, completing a look that felt effortless and true to Marley.
Marley and Timothy’s Boorn Brook Farm wedding was a perfect reflection of why couples are drawn to Vermont: natural beauty, a slower pace, and space to celebrate with intention. From the food and music to the meaningful family moments, every part of the day felt thoughtful, warm, and deeply connected to place.
