Katie and Ben were married in Killington, surrounded by family, friends, and the kind of joy that fills a room quickly. From the start, this wedding felt special. Not only because of the beautiful Vermont setting, but because of the people involved. Working with this family was a true pleasure. They were warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely fun every step of the way.
The wedding unfolded over a full weekend, giving guests time to relax, connect, and celebrate together.
The celebration began on Friday with a welcome party that set the tone immediately. First, a surprise putting green appeared, much to everyone’s delight. Then, Ben & Jerry’s arrived, which made the afternoon feel playful and perfectly on-theme for Vermont.
Guests mingled, laughed, and eased into the weekend. From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt lighthearted and welcoming.
On Saturday, everything shifted into wedding mode. The team completely transformed the space. First, everything inside was cleared out and loaded into a box truck. Then, rentals were brought in and the room was rebuilt from the ground up.
Draping by Quest Events softened the space and added drama. Florals by Jasper and Prudence brought in color, texture, and warmth. Together, they created a look that felt vibrant yet grounded.
Rentals arrived from Peak Event Services, along with furniture from Kadeema. Once everything was in place, the room felt entirely new.
Later in the day, the band arrived and set the stage for the night ahead.
Paper goods and signage were designed by Impress Me Designs. Every detail felt intentional. Custom signs guided guests through the weekend. Menus echoed the design of the invitations. The consistency tied every event together beautifully.
The energy built as the evening continued. Music by East Coast Soul filled the space and kept the dance floor packed. The celebration felt joyful, expressive, and full of movement.
Cake and desserts were provided by Graceful Baking, adding a sweet finish to dinner. Meanwhile, Espresso Dave’s stayed on site all weekend, keeping guests — and staff — happily caffeinated.
Throughout the weekend, the feeling remained the same. Joyful. Colorful. Warm. There was energy and excitement, but also a sense of grounding. Everything felt intentional without being overly formal.
The entire weekend was beautifully captured by Rob Aveau, whose images reflect both the fun and the feeling of the celebration.
Katie and Ben’s Killington wedding was a reminder of how powerful great people, thoughtful design, and a strong vendor team can be. It was an honor to be part of such a happy and heartfelt celebration. I am so thankful for our AMAZING Events By Sorrell Team
