Danielle and Jack were married at Twin Lake Villa, and their celebration unfolded over a full, joy-filled weekend. From the very beginning, the focus was clear. They wanted time with their people. They wanted fun. And they wanted a wedding that felt relaxed, colorful, and completely them.
Throughout the weekend, our team was on site to guide the flow, manage logistics, and help each event feel intentional and easy.
Guests arrived on Friday and were greeted with a welcome barbecue. First, everyone gathered to eat, catch up, and listen to a few heartfelt speeches. Then, ice cream was served, which immediately set a playful tone.
Afterward, guests headed to the beach for a bonfire. Of course, s’mores followed. As the sun set, people lingered by the fire, talked late into the evening, and settled into the weekend.
Saturday began with Color Wars. Eight teams competed in three events: a water balloon toss, an engineering challenge, and a relay race. The energy was high. Laughter was constant. And everyone fully committed.
After the games, guests enjoyed a choose-your-own-adventure afternoon. Some kayaked or canoed. Others played golf or tennis. Meanwhile, yard games, shuffleboard, and time by the lake filled the rest of the day.
Later, everyone gathered again for the ceremony rehearsal. Then, cocktail hour followed, leading straight into a taco dinner in the tent. During dinner, guests were treated to a creative rendition of Danielle and Jack set to the theme of Jack and Diane. Several speeches followed. Cookies were served for dessert.
After dinner, the celebration continued with Porch Fest. Guests moved from porch to porch across the Twin Lake Villa property, enjoying music, conversation, and the summer night.
Sunday began calmly. Hair and makeup took place in one of the cabins. Meanwhile, our team worked behind the scenes to flip the tent from the previous evening into a completely new reception space.
To support the transformation, Lakes Region Tent and Event returned to assist with moving heavy furniture and setting ceremony benches. Together, we created a fresh look for the wedding day.
The design felt bright and joyful. Wildflower-inspired linens added color. Rattan chargers layered the tables. Green goblets and matching napkins brought everything together. Clementina added colorful florals and candles throughout the space. In addition, Lakes Region Tent and Event installed soft lighting, which made the tent glow.
The ceremony took place with benches arranged to feel welcoming and intimate. Clementina created a beautiful floral installation for the ceremony space.
Before the ceremony, Danielle and Jack shared a first look with Kate Preftakes. Family photos followed shortly after.
When the ceremony began, Danielle and Jack were, of course, the stars. However, the flower grandmothers were a close second. They delighted everyone and brought smiles across the crowd. The ceremony itself felt thoughtful, personal, and full of love.
Afterward, guests moved to the annex lawn for cocktail hour. Appetizers and drinks were served. A canoe filled with beer became a favorite gathering spot. Meanwhile, acoustic guitar music played softly in the background. Danielle and Jack also slipped away briefly for a few more photos.
Next, guests moved into the reception tent for dinner. Speeches followed. The food impressed everyone. The energy stayed high.
For dessert, guests headed inside the annex for an ice cream sundae buffet. Then, the celebration returned to the dance floor. Dancing continued well into the night, and the party never slowed.
Danielle and Jack’s Twin Lake Villa wedding was joyful, playful, and deeply connected to the people who matter most to them. Every part of the weekend felt intentional, welcoming, and full of heart.
It was a pleasure to be part of such a fun and meaningful celebration. Congratulations, Danielle and Jack. With Love, Events By Sorrell
