Allison and Cody’s wedding at Aldworth Manor was long-anticipated! The two met all the way back in middle school and began dating in high school. Cody proposed to Allison in Central Park, just the two of them. Then he surprised her with a rooftop party attended by all of their closest family and friends! They chose to wed at Aldworth Manor because of the venue’s splendid mountain views. In addition, they knew that they wanted their celebration to incorporate modern bohemian elements.

A boho touch was noticeable with regard to the unique flowers selected by Allison and supplied by Lotus Floral Designs. Allison wanted all-white flowers, but with a twist. She opted to carry a bridal bouquet composed of orchids and baby’s breath, thus pairing monochromatic color with a dreamy contrast of textures. As for her bridesmaids, they carried bouquets of baby’s breath which set off the dark teal satin of their dresses. Even her flower girl wore a sweet baby’s breath crown!

Outdoor Wedding at Aldworth Manor

Allison and Cody chose to hold their ceremony in Aldworth Manor’s garden, which was in bloom with yellow wildflowers. They stood between two arches covered in baby’s breath and large blush roses, and beside each arch stood a golden pot filled with pampas grass. In all, the effect was delightfully textural and an ode to summertime.

As she walked down the aisle, Allison wore a classic and timeless gown made from white satin. At the front the gown featured a v-neck bodice, while at the back it featured a square cut and buttons. A simple tulle veil topped off the look.

The couple wanted to embrace the gorgeous August weather, so they decided on a tented reception held on the lawn of the Manor. Inside the tent, wooden farm tables were adorned with mauve, blush, and white blooms, including white orchids, anthurium, and mauve roses.
